Independent practice

At the end of the activity, the child will be asked to build a ramp.

Knowledge check

Have the child describe their ramp to you. Allow them to test out ramps of different heights and observe how the height of the ramp affects how far the object travels. Invite them to make predictions before testing it out.

TIPS

  • The interactive activity works best on the Google Chrome™ browser.
  • After each child’s attempt, print or save their results. This must be done before you exit to avoid loss of results.
