Learning Area(s): Science; Sensory and Art
LET'S PLAY
Introduce the activity to your child by saying, “Today we will take turns finding something new in a place that we know really well.”
Pick a familiar place to go with your child. It can be your home, your backyard, a park, a store, or any other place that you and your child both know well.
Examples of things you or your child might notice:
-
- A new car in someone’s driveway
- Updated landscaping (like new flowers planted)
- Seasonal decor
- Something broken got fixed
- A new drawing on the fridge
- A new phrase on a message board (like at a restaurant or place of worship)
TIPS
