Learning Objective: In this game, children will practice naming letters and their associated sounds through a game of finding buried letters. Working with letters helps children learn their names and sounds, which are important pre-reading skills.

Learning Objective: In this activity, the child has the opportunity to be creative by using a variety of shapes to create art.

Feeling Faces Masks

Learning Objective: You and your child will discuss and describe situations in which both of you have experienced different emotions. Together, you will make “feeling face” masks to show these emotions. This activity will help your child understand and relate to his or her own feelings and those of others.

Fingerpainting Fun

Learning Objective: Your child will practice fine motor skills through a mess-free version of fingerpainting, using paint in a plastic bag.

Learning Objective: In this activity, the baby will use exploration and fine motor skills to pull fabric squares out of a tissue box.

Paint a Pie
