The child will identify shapes in the environment.
In this activity, the child will first watch a video about shapes in the environment, like how a roofline makes a triangle. Then they will look at pictures and find shapes embedded in the picture.

At the end of the activity, the child will be asked to find shapes in the classroom or house. The target shapes are circle, triangle, square, and rectangle.
Have the child show you the shapes they found around the classroom or house. Ask them to name the shapes they found and discuss some of their attributes (sides, corners).
