Independent practice

At the end of the activity, the child will be asked to make a reptile out of playdough. They can make a turtle, a snake, a lizard, or another reptile.

Knowledge check

Have the child show you the reptile they made. Encourage them to tell you about the features they included, like scales or bony plates.

TIPS

  • After each child’s attempt, print or save their results. This must be done before you exit to avoid loss of results.
