Seeds’ Needs

Interactive activity

In this activity, the child will first watch a video about how seeds grow into fruit. Then they will test out different items on screen to see if they will help a plant grow from a seed.

Independent practice

At the end of the activity, the child will be asked to draw a picture of a plant they’ve seen.

Knowledge check

Have the child describe their drawing to you. What did they draw? Where did they see it? What did it need to grow into a plant?

  • After each child’s attempt, print or save their results. This must be done before you exit to avoid loss of results.
